User Reviews for Wazir's
I love going to this place for lunch. They have enough options (even though the curries are quite similar) and it is cheap.
We usually have lots of butter naan, some chicken and veg stews, and spend around 150 bucks per person (often including soft drinks).
The service is alright, although the food often takes a bit of time during lunch time.
Our first option for home delivery! I've never dined in there though!
They have an excellent home delivery service. The food is delivered within the promised time of 45 minutes and never have the food failed us! On many occasions, this place have been a saving grace!
1. Schezwan Noodles
2. Ghee Rice
3. Dal fry
4. Grilled Chicken
They have shifted to a new place where there is a decent dine-in option. I am definitely going to try it soon!
well after reading all the nice reviews...i went hunting for this place..the restaurant was closed..but when i contacted them on their mobile no..they said home delivery is there...so i ordered for chicken rolls..but the chicken rolls were the worst that i had ever had...don't know if i will try this place again..
The review is a bit old now, but here is what it was.
The biryani here is quite cheap among the places around and worth eating. The service takes time though if you order anything else especially during lunch time.
Visit the place for dinner if you want to eat other stuff. The food is really good and damn cheap.
The chapati/roti items may not be that well made (they arent to my taste) but the other main course items are fantastic.
The grilled items are also well made. Good for single people as well.
For all the out-station people like me, staying in a new city, with no particular inclination to culinary skills, wazir is god sent !
A small little outlet, facing the hockey stadium, is a great option for take-away.( recently they have also managed to throw in a couple of tables for serving, but it is completely passable ! )
.They also home deliver within their radius and the service is prompt. North Indian and chinese menu is what they cater to, but persoanl recommendation would be to stick to North Indian.
What you should try here -
1) egg masala gravy
2) egg biryani
3) Dal tadka
4) mixed vegetable curry
5) butter chicken
6) chicken hyderabadi gravy
7) chicken lollypop
8) ( the sea food is very average and is passable )
This is complete value for money, and a meal for 2 should cost under 300/-
