User Reviews for Faaso's
I got a delivery from Faaso's.
Had chicken roll with whole wheat lachcha paratha.
This was the worst roll I have ever had. There was simply no taste.
It was just so ordinary and tge chicken filling was very less.
The roll was extremely dry.
The delivery was on time.
I would not recommend to have rolls from here.
Good options for wraps..specially veggie, paneer and chicken. I have order from fasoos couple of times and have tried almost all of the wraps. I am not a fan of their fusion variety..it tasted like indian ...nothing international n that. My favorites are - Chicken Tikka wrap, cheese melt Paneer wrap, paneer tikka wrap.
I can pass thair biryani also.Had ordered chicken biryani...taste was average.
Over all decent place and service for the price.
I am completely loving ordering the online way. Its so convienient. And once you've placed your order online you can even trace it! Never had from faasos before today. This evening just thought of trying it, so ordered it online. And the order was delivered almost in less than thirty minuites. I wonder how did they manage it so early for a 50mins walkable distance. A vehicle would take atleast 20mins or so? Anyway got to say this outlet has real quick service.
So, I ordered Chicken tikka and Bbq chicken roll. For your rolls you could chose from regular paratha or whole wheat lachcha paratha. I chose the latter. Out of the two rolls i liked chicken tikka. Barbeque chicken was a big 'let-down!' BBQ chicken roll should have a barbeque flavour, if not then why on earth would you call it 'barbeque'?! Also their menu describes BBQ chicken to be 'chicken in tangy BBQ sause'.(so not true)
When it comes to rolls, I like them tangy with enough 'chatpatta-ness'. But rolls at faasos seem to have very subtle flavours and in some cases (tallking about the chicken barbeque roll i ordered) irrelevant flavours. Next time if i visit or order from faasos ill go with a safer/ideal option--Paneer tikka, chicken tikka or any other tikka!
It costed Rs.210 altogether for two rolls.
Got to say...i have had way better rolls at other outlets at lesser price. Faasos wasn't the best experience. On the contrary if you like subtle-spice and make a correct choice of rolls then you might happen to like this place. But this place sure dint work for me.
I love Fasoos rolls but this outlet at Santa Cruz ad something else to offer us. We ordered the chicken tikka and the kheema rolls expecting them to be filing enough to substitute lunch.
The tikkas were dry as if grilled again and again or stale. This ruined the entire roll. The kheema was hardly any on the roll and it dint even fill half of our tummy. Later we had a masala Dosa and pav bhaji at a local udupi restaurant which was way much better in terms of quality and price and quantity.
I hope ours was a one stray example and this Outlet offers good rolls in general. As fassos has a created a name by feeding us foodies reasonably priced Good Rolls.
I decided to give my daily local lunch a skip and ordered from Faaso's instead. I ordered from their website www.faasos.com. Placing the order was very simple, but that's about it. It was an hour while I waited for the order to arrive. I ordered the 'new' veg spicy and a renamed version of the Choco lava cake they serve at some QSR pizza chain. Hungry, I called the 3 faasos numbers mentioned on their website for the Kalina branch where I had placed the order. 2 engaged numbers and one cloud number-giving-me-the-Faaso's-rap-song later, I tried the number listed on Zomato - a different one. The lady at the other end says the delivery boy left long time ago but they dont know where he is currently - have you considered using the mobile phone? She calls me some time later offering a new dispatch in '5-10' minutes. The delivery boy just arrives with a cold and not-so-fresh roll, supposed to be a veg spicy, which is vegetables & paneer cooked in oriental spices - I think they forgot the vegetables altogether. So here I am, with my cold, no-vegetables veg spicy roll, half remaining, while I write this review. Very disappointed, I had heard some good things about you guys! Not a good deal for lunch.

Just finished the roll, paneer keeps falling out - but I guess that's me, I eat a little clumsily :D
Speaking of clumsy, I am off to enjoy my clumsily packed choco lava cake.
