User Reviews for Anidra - The Lodhi
We visited Anidra on a Saturday night and were surprised to find it empty. Had read and heard a lo about the place and the 'crowd' it pulls in but when we walked in at 11pm, there were 2 groups apart from us and the pub / lounge just looked absolutely empty.
It is situated to your right as soon as you enter the Aman hotel with stairs taking you down to Anidra. As you enter, you will see a bar situated in the middle with seating on three sides. The place is not very big and is done up well with some couch seating, some bar stools, some high tables all around but well spaced around.
It is very dimly lit with candles on all tables the wall opposite to the entrance has water flowing down behind the glass window with some candles / flame torches decorated alongside it.
A few more people walked in slightly after us but the place did not become crowded and was fairly empty. The surprising bit was that it closed at 12.30am!
We didn't try any food as we came from a dinner but had a few drinks. There is a good variety of beer and we tried some shooters which were very well mixed. The drinks are on the expensive side. The music was great!
It is a great place, nothing extraordinary but in a group of people can make for a fun night out with great drinks and good music. We had a lot of fun here and I just wonder it if was an off night or the crowd generally doesn't seem to have taken to this place. I personally loved the fact that there wasn't a crazy crowd packing the place to capacity. Definitely worth a visit!
Marvelous Ambiance! This place is chilled and so heavenly. Very comforting. I went with a few school friends for a reunion. Its dark atmosphere brings that feel! 5/5 for that.
Coming to the food, We ordered Panko Crusted chicken Strips with Honey sauce. I loved the way it looked and it was very well-presented. Took a bite and I was in heaven. They were crisp, spicy and tasteful just as they should be. For the mains we ordered the Chicken, sundried tomatoes, Creamy penne and it was incredibly enjoyable. The quantity and quality were equally wonderful. The waiters were calm and composed and behaved in a very presentable manner. Service was fast too. You guys should really try this place with friends. Its gonna be fun. Especially when the atmosphere is too damn hot!
Anidra is the place for me because I can be an insomniac and when I am working several nights at a stretch I really prefer to take a break and go out for a midnight snack and this is the place I picked last week because I really loved the name and the positive reviews I had read on Zomato.
The decor is chic but it is a tad too dark or if I put it in a romantic way, dimly lit. I love the wall that says Zinfandel because Zinfandel wine is my favourite. The seating is luxuriously comfortable and you can sink into one of their comfortable chair for hours with a glass of wine in your hand and not have a worry in the world.
You can spend a romantic evening at this restaurant here because you will not find a lot of people here even on a Saturday night, it is quite calm but that doesn't mean that the food isn't fab, it totally is. It just is very spacious and a lot of people don't know about this place.
If you like mojitos, try their Passion Fruit Mojito, it really is refreshing and it is the best thing you can have on a hot summer evening. I love their Kamakazi shots, they get you in a state of trans almost instantly, its amazing!
The amazing waterfall display fills your evening with more pleasure as there is nothing as refreshing as a waterfall display in summertime. Everything here is wonderful and dreamy.
I love their Fried Calzones, absolutely delicious but what I loved better here is the fact that you can dance to delightful music. I love dancing a lot and this place is open until really late so I am always happy when I am at Anidra.
Their bar snacks include yellowtail makimono, wasabi, Buttermilk Onion Rings creamy cheese, everything is well thought out nicely planned and well presented.
To top it all the service is fabulous. I love how hospitable they are and how you hardly have to wait for food, its all a dream - love Anidra!

Recently visited Anidra for a friends bday so my experience is different from the others since it was a private party.
A lil too hyped for what it offers, the decor etc are nice but nothing extra ordinary. Guess delhi just creates a hype about any new place that opens up. The music was great and kept the place alive.
The snacks were average but i enjoyed the wine. Considering it was a friday night, expected a lot more people than i saw there. An average experience overall.
Anidra is where the high-heeled Delhiites are seen hob-nobbing, their lively chatter drowned by the beats of a popular DJ belting out commercial music and the clicking of champagne glasses.
Set in the sprawling, luxurious The Aman Resorts, this chic lounge attracts the glitterati of South and Central Delhi. With an island bar, a raised performance/dance floor and interiors that remind you of China Club in Bombay, Anidra is a much-needed party place in a city where clubs can rarely boast of a classy crowd. The hefty cover charge ensures the quality of folk here.
It is the perfect end to your evening after dining at the equally fancy restaurant (On The Waterfront) that is perched right above the club.
If you are looking to let your hair down and shake a leg or two, this is the ideal spot in the capital.
