User Reviews for Nazeer Foods
Mughlai as it should be, at a cost that leaves ample room for desserts. Changezi Chicken is a must have curry! Tandoori and chicken biryani have always turned out to be pretty decent.
Avoid the veg options, Pease!
The place is a little cramped and the overall picture might put many off, but then there's always Take Away option for them.
Nazeer's is typical spicy and oily Mughlai food just the way it is supposed to be made! The ambiance at the place is just about okay with almost makeshift arrangements about. Thankfully it is air conditioned. They deliver quite efficiently. So its always a better option to avail home delivery. All the dishes are great and freshly prepared.
Kadhai chicken (it is not made with capsicum like in many other places)
Chicken Afghani kabab
Other chicken kababs
My experiences with biriani and mutton dishes have not been good so I would not recommend them.
Try Nazeer if you are a non-veg lover. Vegetarians I am not aware how good or bad it is.
Food: Taste wise the food was good. Served extremely hot and that makes us feel that it is not an old preparation. Also the size of the pieces is good and big as opposed to other restaurants who serves tikkas etc.
Ambience: Simple, urban self service style of placement. the place is rather small to hold the kind of crowd it attracts.
Staff: Self service and so the staff doesnt really interact with you so much. But yes the cleaning boy etc. gave a lazy feeling. The staff seemed a bit off the track as it happens in most self service places.
Location: It is in sector 18, NOIDA but on a less travelled and busy street. AMidst lots of other restaurants. So it fights with a lot of other ones and wins. Purely because of the food.
Value for money: The taste took all the value.
Try Tawa Chicken. It was really great.
This is Noida's answer to Al-bek; not the shawarmas, but the rolls and the curries and the general north indian fare on the menu is pretty similar.
Food: The chicken taka-tak roll is quite an improvisation - shredded chicken pieces with mint chutney and mayo. The Kathi roll is good too, much heavier than taka tak, and almost a meal by itself. The paneer tikka is a bit disappointing - huge chunks of cottage cheese, but not marinated very well, with some veggies thrown into the steak as an after-thought.
Ambiance: Don't expect great decor or ambiance. The food makes up for it though. They could improve the air-conditioning.
Service: Self-service; the serving time is impressive 10-15 minutes.
Overall value for money: Good value for money, especially when you want a dose of north indian and mughlai, on a budget.
This restaurant has great reviews from some really good foodies whose opinion I trust so I had to try this place out. I was expecting to be swept off my feet but I am not that easy to please so I was only slightly impressed.
Tawa Chicken Changezi was good but was not something I'll sing praises for and the Classic Kadahi Chicken was quite average too but the Tawa Chicken was fantastic, a tad too oily for me but still the best part of the the meal.
The service for me was quite disappointedly slow because I was with 7 friends who had to wait for their main course while the other friends had started eating. I just do not like to start with my friends so I was not pleased with the service.
I was very disappointed with the naan bread served to us as well because it was really hard and the corners seemed uncooked. The Roomali Roti was fabulous, soft and fresh and made up for the pathetic taste of the undercooked naan bread.
I finally though the best part of my meal would make up for all the damage done by the starters and the main course but they only had one dessert, a special kheer preparation. Well, I am not the biggest fan of kheer but I was eager to try out this special preparation. Was it really special? Well, honestly I've had much better but yes, it was quite decent and a welcome change after the average meal I had.
Quite honestly, I am not sure if I would like to go back to this restaurant again but I do recommend that if you happen to be at Nazeer foods, do ask for the severs' recommendation because you order because they are likely to recommend the specials and things that are freshly made.
