oh.....Zamu's...reminds of a good ol' english bistro....cozy place....courteous staff and above all great food. Loved the calamari rings and the beef. Don't forget the "bawa" spread on sundays...

Tried Sali Boti which is a Parsi dish. It was delicious. Also garlic beef was tasty. Overall its a great place to visit with friends.

Situated a little off Dhole Patil Road, Zamu's is a multi-cuisine restaurant cosily located around the corner. While the entire street is famous for small or big restaurants and coffee shops, this one particularly stands out with its typical flavour.

While the place is packed most days of the week, getting in on a weekend could mean enjoying a nice long twenty minute to half an hour wait outside. While half my enthusiasm for evening had disappeared with the wait and the confusion at the entrance, the interiors make you wonder if it was worth waiting at all. It's an overcrowded cozy restaurant buzzing with chatter.

But as it turns out the food is worth it all. The soups, the starters, the main course and everything that comes along is absolutely marvellous! While, the Russian salad and beef chilli soup were good, the mushroom and macaroni sizzler was insanely delicious. The mushroom and macaroni were well cooked with the perfect blend of distinctive flavours. The drunken pork steak was well prepared, juicy and mildly spicy.

Service is outstandingly good; and to add to your good meal, the staff is extremely courteous and helpful. Appetizers like garlic mushroom and beacon wrapped prawn were equally good. Overall, the main course is undoubtedly the best. The food portions served are filling, in fact incredibly filling for one person. The dessert is where they could possibly fall short, the Caramel Custard and Chocolate Mousse were average and nothing extraordinary as such.

While most regulars are a fan of their amazing steaks and wines, do not miss out on the parsi dishes they serve every Sunday. Chicken Farcha, Dhansakh and Patranimachchi are some of their famous delicacies.

The overall experience is pleasant and enjoyable. If you are heading to Zamu on a weekend, make sure you have a reservation beforehand and sit back for a sumptuous meal that will leave you wanting for more!
