Went there for the ambience and were not disappointed . Got a table with the best view in the house - a corner table on the patio overlooking the fountains! Great service too! We ordered the mushroom risotto which was flavourful without it having too much truffle. The pork ribs were great- perfectly cooked! Also ordered the garlic prawns which were supposed to be spicy but was disappointingly not. Would recommend the place for sure !!!

Lavo at Las Vegas is a fine dining Italian restaurant located right inside Palazzo hotel. The ambiance and service is extremely good, the food quantity is huge but the taste is not up-to the mark. The chef takes special care in knowing your choice and likes - but somehow I didn't quite like all the dishes. The eggplant parmigiana is a huge dish which was way too large for me and my wife. The taste is extremely rich and I didn't like it. Then I went for grilled Salmon - which is very well made. In dessert we tried  Tiramisu which was also very good. Overall a satisfying experience.

Lavo is an Italian fine dining restaurant and bar located at the Palazzo hotel and Casino. It is on the famous Las Vegas Boulevard. My family and myself love Italian cuisine. So I booked a table at Lavo for dinner.
The place is elegant, sophisticated and glamours. The decor is beautiful with lovely light arrangements.
We ordered wine for ourselves and kids had soft drinks. They have a great wine list. The complimentary bread and marinara sauce was good.We ordered aubergine Parmigiana for starters,it was well made and we liked it.We ordered three different varieties of pasta. The four cheese ravioli was excellent.Even the other pastas were quite good. The quantity is huge.So just must make sure, you don't order too much.
The service and staff is excellent. The food and drinks are pricy. But I guess, that's the way it is with upmarket restaurants. The music was good.Definitely recommend Lavo.We had a wonderful dining experience.

Food was very good, but no spaghetti and meatballs are worth $34. It also took about 12 mins for our order to be taken when the place was almost empty.

Terrible service. Rude manager.. My husband and I had been looking forward to going to Lavo for a very long time. We heard wonderful things about their food and we couldn't wait to get there. We traveled from Louisville, Ky and Lavo was at the top of our list. I'm very sad to say our experience was awful, not because of the food but the service. Our server disappeared after we received our food, and after asking her to split the check (8 people, 3 checks) she brought one combined bill, handed us a pen, and told us to write down what each person had on the back of the receipt, and separate them accordingly, so she could enter them in the computer. We did that. No problem. 20 minutes later she came back with 3 separate checks, we paid and my husband and I left the restaurant. As we waited outside, my friend walked out and informed us she had to pay for mine and my husbands dinner, that we did not pay! I asked to speak with a manager to resolve the issue. I... read more

Had the meatball with Ricotta and the chopped Louie salad. Both were great, service was first class and wines by the glass were nice. A definite great option for upscale casual Italian.

Champagne brunch. Unlimited champagne brunch is $30, which is a pretty good deal if you're planning on having a few drinks. But the food is mediocre.

Good food. Not so good service. Never met the waiter and tried to rush us out of restaurant.

Too Loud & too close - Restaurant only review. We wanted a nice dinner before attending the 9:30 PM performance of Beatles Love at the Mirage. Lavo was recommended to us as having great food and being across the street from the Mirage. Latest reservations available were for 6:15 PM on a Sunday evening, so I figured we would have a pleasant, leisurely dinner and then spend some time wandering around the Palazzo/Venetian before heading over to the Mirage. We were seated promptly at 6:15 at a table for two set up on the "long bench" seating along the far wall. They have small tables for two that can be moved and combined to accommodate any-sized number of group. On the ends are larger circular booths. The center of the room was set up for tables of four. The restaurant was sparsely filled at that time. The small tables and close proximity of the adjacent tables (less than 20 inches away) did not bother us at first, since they were empty. There was a group of six in... read more

Horrible service. Food was mediocre at best. Way over priced for what you get.
