Sometime ago, We dined at a very popular and well-established Ramen Noodle restaurant in Tokyo. We had a delightful culinary experience there. The Ramen dishes inspire us to create heavenly new Ramen Noodle dishes for Tsujita Annex. We want to share these scrumptious creation with our Los Angeles patrons

Talking of ramen loveliness, on Sawtelle Boulevard in Los Angeles is Tsujita LA Artisan Noodle, a Japanese Ramen Noodle Annex, which locals say serves one of the best Tsukemen in town. Their hot and flavorful bowls of Tsukemen are all fabulous and the Char Siu do their own PR. We ordered the Char Siu Tsukemen, the killer slices of barbecued pork cut randomly into thin slices that jostled around the bowl of ramen noodles and soup and a wedge of lime - the addition of which added an extra citrus note to this delicious medley. It was a few simple, but perfectly paired ingredients assembled intuitively that gave the dish such depth. It wasn't complicated cooking wrapped up in time and technique, it was wisdom. Tsujita LA Artisan Noodle is definitely exceptionally well versed in the way of the noodle.

How do I begin to explain the soup broth at Tsujita? It is rich, flavorful, and earthy. Reminds me of the bottom of the roasting pan with all the juices. I enjoyed the CHAR SIU TSUKEMEN and the pork slices served here will spoil you for anything else again. The pork meat and fat were perfectly cooked and when added to the broth almost melted in your mouth. The egg was cooked so that the whites were hard but the yolk was like a soft boiled egg. Nice!
The noodles were terrific and chewy. Combining them as you go into the broth coats them as you slurp them up.
Finally, as I finished my noodles, the waiter asked me if I would like some more soup (I had about a quarter of broth remaining). When he returned they had added a little more just to increase the heat of the soup so I could finish properly.
They offer cold sake although it isnt listed on the menu.
I was there on a Tuesday and it was crowded but the lines short. I imagine it gets much longer on weekends. Be sure yo bring cash too because they dont take credit cards.
I wish I lived near this place.
