Even though the delivery service takes way to long it's well worth the wait. The customer service sucks and major language barrier with some of the girls answering the phone. I know people would much rather go order in person than to deal with the phone , but not everyone has that easy access. The food is excellent
Horrible customer service. I drove into the mall on Monday night at 9:50 pm and the OPEN sign was flashing and the door was opened with two customers still inside, my daughter and I just got into the mall from being at school all night. As soon as the young slim asian girl at the counter finished with the two ladies, she looked directly at my daughter and I and stated that they were closed. After leaving I noticed that the two ladies were sitting waiting for their food, so I got out my car and went back in and asked if I could "PLEASE order some food seeing how the door was still opened and customers were still in the restaurant. The young lady then asked me what I would like to order, so I called my daughter to come in and order her food. We ordered the general tso chicken on the combination platter (c3) $8.25 comes with pork fried rice and egg roll and a side of pork lomein (36) $4.85 w/o veggies. At the time that we ordered a young asian man I assume was one of the cooks, started saying something in his language and seem to get upset bc the clerk took our order, anyway when we received our order, I purposely checked the order cuz I knew they were up to something, everything was there except the pork fried rice that came with the (c3) general tso combination plate. I asked the clerk about the pork fried rice and she decided to argue with me and tell me that it was an individual order, when she knew fully well that she was lying and so we were going back and forth about it until the same young guy (cook) came over along with a middle aged lady and tried to convince me that I did not order the combination plate, whether or not I ordered the combo or individual it's all the same, I should have gotten my pork fried rice with my order, I have ordered from them many times before but this is my last time eating there, they are horrible and disrespectful to their customers. Also to make matters worse, when we got home the pork lo mein had veggies.

Good food, horrible service. This is the kind of place you want to avoid delivery. The last time I had food delivered it took more than an hour and a half and the girl working the phone was so overwhelmed and the "manager" doesn't speak any English, the food is good but the lack of basic costumer service skills makes this a place to avoid delivery at all cost.

No attention to Details. I order about once a week at China Yan. I always order a house soup from them. Overall,. their food is made fresh and it's great. However, before you leave the restaurant. I suggest you check your order. They never put eating utensils in your bag and leave out condiments. I always ask them for condiments and they never put in what I ask for. Just one soy sauce and duck sauce. China Yan Restaurant Owners, please read this. Your customers are not dogs or cats that can eat straight out of the bowl. That was during medieval times. Eating utensils please and hot mustard sauce or whatever (I specifically ask for it during ordering) and how about a napkin to clean off after your meal. That's just good etiquette.
