Oh my!!!. Was heading to Petco for kitty essentials when the words 'sushi' and 'buffet' caught my eye and I said to my boyfriend 'lets grab dinner. I'm starved!' . Upon completion of our litter/cat food/treats run we pulled into the restaurant I've driven past a gazillion times! A buffet is a buffet, right? Well apparently not! We walked in to a busy restaurant and we're seated immediately as it was still relatively early. Gave our drink orders to the waitress and headed to the food line...first thing I see are freshly shucked oysters and queen crab legs! Beyond that were the grilled meats and hot foods including some gigantic tempura'd shrimps..and Eureka! Sushi sushi sushi! Every roll you can imagine as well as nigiri but the piece de resistance was the beautiful sashimi!! I honestly can't recall the last time I've seen sashimi at an all you can eat establishment. It's costly to leave off the filling rice and frankly you can't fake quality when the fish is speaking for itself! After filling my plate I sat down and said 'uh oh! how much is this going to be??' It was $18.95! Wow are they short changing themselves! I highly recommend this place for those who love good fresh seafood...the deserts were crap but I don't suppose you're going there for them...
