The Forge is still one of my top 3 steakhouses. As a current Tampa resident, I think its better than Bern's (if anything its not as gaudy). The newly designed interior is very sleek and upscale and even the bathrooms have fun décor. The main draw, the steaks, are cooked to perfection. The sides are definitely sharable and that way you can try a variety which I recommend. The parmesan truffle fries are still my favorite. The soufflés are rich and delicious and are prepared with 30 minute notice so recommend that if you think you could have room after dinner. Like Bern's, they have a very extensive wine menu and now also have the wine taps at the bar so you can try that $100/glass bottle you have been eyeing!
I was just recently at the forge for dinner with my family and had an outstanding experience. Our server was magan and she was great, our food server nick and he was phenominal, and our bus boy was henry. I cannot say enough about how excellent, accomodating and knowledgeable they all were. The food was excellent but the service and attentiveness of the staff was what made it an outstanding experience. Thank you all for a great night out and I'll be back next time I visit miami.

As for entrees I got the short ribs with polenta which were very fatty, my husband got the coffee crusted steak which was OK, my dad loved the "super" steak, and my mother thought the snapper in a bag was pretty good (poor presentation). We also ordered truffle risotto which was incredible and sweet chili green beans to die for! And as for dessert we had 2 soufflés pistachio and smores, both good, but pistachio was way better! And the black smoke was so yummy, coffee icecream with sea salt!
So basically everything was outstanding besides the entrees and service.
