Probably the best peking duck you can find in North America. We've never been to New York City without a visit to this restaurant. Other dishes are okay, but as their name suggests, the peking duck is their specialty. Service is good too. A solid 5-stars for the peking duck, 4-stars for everything else.

Service is very good here and they were able to accommodate our very large group at the last minute. We ordered the Peking Duck set which comes with many side dishes. Be aware that the portions here are huge! We could not eat half of the food. The peking duck was not too bad but the pancakes weren't the best. The side dishes were ok but were not handled well.

Duck. Go here for the duck. And perhaps the Peking fried pork chops. The rest of the menu is standard 1980's issue Chinese food, some of it good but the rest fairly run of the mill. I'd avoid the package deal as the appetizer is so-so and the fruit desert has never been good. During my last trip the cherries were spoiled. Indeed, I heard my inner Gordon Ramsay shouting "chef, have you no pride? This fruit is bloody rotten!" But the duck, that was outstanding.

Far from the best. Duck is my favorite poultry, I will choose duck over any meat any day. Tried Peking Duck after seeing all the great reviews, what a disappointment. Duck has no flavor and the price is so much more than other restaurants in China Town with better quality duck with crispy skin. This is for the non-Asian who doesn't know what Great Peking Duck should taste. Don't be fool by the appearance of the restaurant, hole in the wall restaurant serves better duck.

Food was very good. Busy place so recommend reservations. Definitely would go back if in China Town.

My friends and I are visiting from Tampa and wanted really good Chinese food. This place had the highest rating on urbanspoon, so we ventured to Chinatown. The crispy duck was phenomenal!! They served large portions for a reasonable price. As a traveler I try to eat half now, and the other half in my hotel. So this was a nice deal for me. The atmosphere was quiet, intimate, but relaxed. The staff were great! I have nothing negative to say about this place. Great first impression!!!

I crave certain foods. I crave a dish that is served here and it has everything to do with contrasts. It is the Szechuan Scallops with Crispy Bean Curd. The scallops are sweet and tender, the bean curd is crispy on the outside yet yields to the bite and than there are all of these chilis add heat which is a wonderful counterpoint to the scallops and the bean curd. Wow. I am left sweating and smiling at the end of the meal. It is great.

Great atmosphere. I visited this restaurant while in town on business and we were not disappointed. The Peking dick was crisp and flavorful. They carve the duck out in the center of the restaurant. The Gen Tso's was the best I'd ever had at any restaurant. The service was excellent despite of the slight language barrier to overcome.

Classic duck. When it comes to fried duck and special occasions, this place is our go-to if we're in the mood for carved duck served up in little pancakes with sprigs of green onion, sauce and what have you. The other food here is so-so, but their scallion pancakes are pretty darn good too. They're great to munch while you wait for the duck.
