Reception and service were good. The preset "Christmas" menu food was mediocre. The halibut was way over cooked but the Branzino ,which was ordered from the regular menu, was delicious. Very pricey for the quality of food. Dessert options were ridiculously expensive and not listed clearly on menu

Service was excellent. Waiters and bartender were very courteous. Arvin has to fall into my top 3 elite experiences in restaurant dining as far as service. Great, amiable, courteous and very attentive.
The lobster mac 'n cheese was out of this world.

We had choices for other fine dining places and after hours of research we've found The sea fire grill which we do not regret!

The sea fire grill is amazing and during my next New York trip we would definitely come back.

I definitely recommend it!

Fabulous dining experience, but the wait in the lounge nearly turned me away. I can't say enough good things about our dining experience here. The dining room service, wine list, and our meals were top notch. The salmon was among the best I've ever had, and I've lived on both coasts. Our dining room server was friendly, professional, and attentive, though he gave us our space and let us take our time. The only off-putting experience was when we first arrived, and the subsequent wait in the lounge for our table. The hostess was not friendly and we did not feel welcome. The bar staff was too busy to be attentive at all and were borderline rude. Based on how we were treated in the lounge while we waited, I was ready to leave. But my friend had been there before and assured me the dinner would be worth it, which in the end, it absolutely was.

Midtown Seafood Treat. Great midtown restaurant with outstanding seafood. Busy, crowded and noisy for a midweek dinner out.
I had the lobster avocado salad and the halibut steak. Both were excellent. The lobster salad was one of the best I have ever had; large chunks of lobster, several generous slices of avocado over a slaw of carrot and heart of palms. The presentation was nearly as good as the flavor.
A real treat!

Loved it! The calamari appetizer was great and there was plenty so you get enough for your money. We also had scallops for an appetizer. There were only 2, so I'm my opinion it wasn't worth $20. Had the surf and turf for dinner - steak was cooked perfectly. Their extra dirty Martinis were delicious. Wonderful service.
Excellent. Great food. Great decor. Buzzy bar scene at entrance.. Here goes with the rave review. Opened by young chefs from the famous Le Bernadin, these guys are really cooking, so to speak. We've dined numerous times. Never been disappointed. Be prepared perhaps to book a little earlier than you really want because they have in our case run late a few times. But it's fun to sit in the bar if you do have to wait. Pretty people, lots of eye candy. Staff are professional and will not say to you, "Hi, my name is William and I am into holistic healing. I'll be your waitperson tonight". Friendly atmosphere. Pricey but maybe that's what it takes in NYC if you want the above.

Can't say anythin about the food because we left before we were served. It took over 10 minutes for us to be approached at our table. If you are going to pay high dollar for your meal then you should receive high dollar service. We opted for capitol grille instead and couldn't have been happier.

Blown Away. I am at a loss for words to describe how amazing my meal was here a few nights ago. The blackened swordfish was a top-5 cut of fish for me, and I've had seafood around the world. The way they seared the outside of this fish was a marvel to me. The butter sauce applied at the end was incredible. All the sides we shared were outstanding. The endless bowls of homemade chips at the bar, wow. Oh, and we also had sliders for an appetizer and they were fanfreakintastic. If you're lucky enough to have Madison as your bartender, you will have this same awesome experience in your life as well.
