The food taste fairly authentic and the service is pretty standard. When I went with a group, we ordered the tasting menu which was somewhat confusing because of the options that they ask you to define what level of spicy and what kind of food to bring out to you. Just a tip - when they say that the food is spicy, they really mean it.

If you're looking for Schezuan or heck, if you're just looking for real deal Chinese food - stop by Han Dynasty. You've got to get the Dan Dan noodles - great texture and savoriness, with the noodles having perfect chew. The pork belly app is also a favorite of mine, cold, but with a great sesame chili sauce. The three cup chicken's a winner, with the perfect sauce to coat the moist chicken, pepper, and onions. Any of the dry-style dishes are very good as well. The chicken dry-pot tastes like elevated popcorn chicken, with a kick!

You walk into Han Dynasty and you feel like you’re walking into a grand old theatre that has been converted into a restaurant. It has really high ceilings with intricate work on the pillars and beams. They seemed to have a well-stocked bar but the screens playing baseball at the bar didn’t go well with the theme of the restaurant. They rate all their dishes on a spice scale from 0-10 with 10 being the spiciest. I enjoyed the dumplings in chilli oil and the oil added a nice kick to the dumplings. For the main course, I got the dry pot pork on the lunch specials and this dish had a spice level of 10. The pork was pretty spicy and had me sweating but I would get it again! It is recommended to get a bunch of small plates for the table as you can try different dishes. The Dan Dan noodles is one of their most popular dishes and is worth ordering.

Had to resubmit this for some reason. Not sure why it was removed. This was my first time eating at this place and I really enjoyed it. The food was very spicy (an 8 on a scale of 1-10), and even though an 8 may not seem super spicy to anyone, it definitely was-but was also very delicious! Would definitely go back again.

A nice experience dining here, but the food was just okay for me.  I had the Dry Pot Pork for lunch, and it was definitely tasty - it just didn't blow me away.   I also had the fried dumplings, which were pretty standard - a bit doughy.  Prices were good, though.

The reason I liked and would come back to this place, is the building itself and the interior decor.  From what i've read, the restaurant is in the old Corn Exchange National Bank building, which has a great, old look to it, and the inside is expansive and well done.  Pretty cool, indeed!

This place is impressive! The decor is awesome--you walk into a big, dark, open room. Very cool. The dumplings in chili oil are amazing. I always make sure to get the Dan Dan noodles as well!

If u are close to Penns landing and don't have time to visit Chinatown this is decent place. Too spicy for my liking but it's known to be a spicy restaurant so can't complain that I did not know about it . Service was good and fast . Just be careful about how spicy u can eat I am from India and I thought it was spicy

Ok if you live right there and dont want to drive to china town. Too spicy and chicken was dry. Beef was also dry. Dumplings werent good. Spring rolls were a better appetizer. Also pricy

Authentic cantonese in philadelphia. This was my first time eating Cantonese food. I love spicy food, but I have always been told that Cantonese spice is something brutal. All of the dishes have a heat scale from 1 - 10 with 10 being the hottest. I ended up ordering the pork dry pot style (10), but I dialed it down to a 7 to be safe. We also shared some fried rice as a table. The presentation was amazing, but the food was not spicy. I ended up having her bring out hot sauce to increase my heat level to a 10. The dry pot is large, but not very filling; the fried rice came in handy. Overall, it was a good experience. There are so many food options in Chinatown, so I doubt that I will return.

Great all around!. Had a very positive experience this weekend! Food was fresh and service was quick. We will be back!
