Egg foo young. Not on the menu but if you ask nicely when they're not busy Mr. Chao makes the BEST Egg Foo Young I've ever had!!! The gravy isn't mostly flour or gelatin to thicken, it's a nice dark rich delicious compliment to the huge thin patties. I was startled at the price the first time they made it for me but have happily returned again & again since that first taste!!
POSITIVE
The food has really good flavor and a nice touch is that they have brown rice at no extra cost.
The only negative that I have is that the menu is a little limited.

Besides the typical chinese reds an buddhas as decorations, the service was good and prompt. Our waiter returned several times to make sure everything was to our liking and refilling drinks when getting low instead of waiting for the otherwise inevitable empty glass.
The food was good. I had the General Tso's chicken and my wife had the shrimp and string beans. Both dishes had good flavor. The chicken in the GT was not the typical "bits" that most chinese restaurants use - these looked like actual chicken breasts that were sliced and breaded. The chicken seemed like top quality. My wife said the shrimp was nice and juicy and not over-cooked (which is usually how it comes out at other places).
All in all, I definitely recommend Mr. Chao's and I plan to go back for quality chinese food.
