Okay, like Lucky Noodle King is solid Chinese food and it’s not the kind of place to eat by yourself. You see, there are lots of excellent choices on their menu and portions are sizable to feed a group of 6 people easily. The  Dan Dan Mian ; a spicy ground pork noodle dish with crushed peanuts, is o ne of my very favorite dishes to eat at  Lucky Noodle King   . Lucky Noodle King specializes in cuisine from the Sichuan Province, an area known for its liberal use of mouth-numbing, tingly chilis. For our inaugural visit, Justin and I gravitated towards the spot's signature dishes. In fact, our smiling server correctly predicted our order, which was helpful given the language barrier. But let’s talk about this dan dan mian that’s so hot (again, pun unintended). Every version I’ve had of the dish goes heavy-handed with either the spice, the sesame paste, or the peanuts, but never all 3 aspects. But Lucky Noodle King balances these characteristics of the ideal dan dan mian well (although it might not seem like it above from the angle I shot the dish at), and they worked off all each other wonderfully. ...

A great new place to set your mouth on fire! Who doesn't love a flavorful savory dish at a reasonable price? Upon a friend's recommendation, I sought out the Lucky Noodle King for their infamous Fagara Spicy Pot. It's hard to imagine that I would find a new tasty dish that can turn my head. I enjoy that it is a small mom and pop shop offering lots of tasty traditional Sichuan dishes. They have a simple decor and limited seating so it is best to go during down time to get seated easily. First off they serve some starter snacks, Roasted & Salted Peanuts. Great to much on and begin the savory journey. To start off, we had to have my current favorite spicy dish of Boiled Fish and Intestines. You can always choose one item or have a combination of items. I normally get fish but my love for chewy fatty intestines has been rekindled and I just have to have them in every dish.
