A friend brought me here and I forgot it had been on my list of need to try ramen spots and ohhh baby yum.  Now it is up there on my list!  I had the Spicy Miso Ramen and I have to say, probably one of my favorite spicy ramens I have had in Seattle!  The broth has excellent flavor and a deep rich color with just the right amount of spice that doesn't overpower the deliciousness of the broth.  Also can I just say, if you go here, YOU NEED to try their gyoza.  They are cooked ABSOLUTELY PERFECTLY!  Just look at the pictures, they are fried so perfectly, they are connected with a thin layer of gyoza connecting tissue, a first for my eyes!  Thanks Samurai Noodle, you are truly noodle samurais!

What makes the kids happy..... By far, this is my kids FAVORITE restaurant of all time. The fact that there is ONE place that they can all agree on is pretty impressive in and of itself, but it simply is just GREAT noodles....and that makes for happy kids.

Why can't there be good Tonkotsu in Seattle???. First of all, I really don't want to criticize this place too much since their Tonkotsu is pretty much the best *in Seattle*. With that said, the Tonkotsu in Samurai is still not as good as Tonkotsu SHOULD BE. Their broth lacks the gelatinous, deep flavor that are the hallmarks of Tonkotsu. I also find their pork dry and under-seasoned.

Would I go back? Yes, but only for the lack of better choices.

Eh, whatever.. I ordered the vegetarian ramen, and I havent tried any of their meat versions. But I found my bowl to be pretty darned tasteless. It was just, well, sort of something I could have made at home without trying too hard.

Samurai Noodle - ID. Yes, the food was good.

Yes, the place is small and cozy.

Yes, there was a considerable wait to order and be seated.

Yes, I would go back again.

And Yes, you should probably go somewhere else if you are impatient (that way I am one person closer to the front of the line).

I love this little place. I oder the tofu in soy broth. It is simple and delicious. Totally unpretentious. Enjoy!

Holy Pork, Batman.. Let's talk ramen. This place has friendly staff and an even friendlier owner from Kyoto, Japan. The quality of the food here is superb. Their broth simmers for hours and hours before you ever get it, so it's rich and bold. The pork is in huge, delicious cuts. The noodles are perfect, and you can get them any way you like (soft, medium, or firm ala el dente.) The shop is tiny so you might have to wait a little for a seat, but that just makes me yearn fondly for places just like this in Japan.

It is only ok.. Nothing really stands out. Ramen is ok, but not among the best I had before. The egg is over cooked

The food is amazing! It's cheap and delicious. The unfortunate part is that te restaurant is really small an it's always crowded around lunch time. My friend told me that it is truly the closest thing that she has had to the ramen in japan. That should tell you something ^_^

Amazing food, poor location and space. Okay, so the food is outstanding! However, there is no place to sit. This restaurant has 7 tables.
:(
If you are wanting amazing ramen and don't mind waiting with a possibility of not getting a seat for a LONG time, this is your place! :)

Plus there are no benches outside the restaurant to sit either.
