Delicious Chinese, Amazing Prices. Stopped in from lunch, and as an out-of-towner from Chicago, I was looking for some authentic Scechuan style food and I am so happy that I stumbled into this place! (Well, I did have to look for it since it is on the 2nd level of a 2 story plaza). The scallion pancakes appetizer were warm and chewy, like a thinner Indian-style naan. The Egg Flower soup was one of the best that I have tasted, mild in egg flavor so that the corn and clear broth tastes come through. And the hand shaved Noodles in Hot Oil with Pork was mindblowing - soft noodles with just the right amount of snap coated in a thick spicy red pepper flake chili oil and blended with ground pork and scallions. All this, plus a large beef fried rice with perfectly cooked strips of juicy beef, for 20 dollars. You just can't beat this quality of food for the price. If I find my way back to Seattle anytime soon, I will most definitely make this stop again!

YUM. Soooo good, was craving Szechuan food and was definitely satisfied coming here! The service was super fast that day too, it felt like the food came instantaneously after we ordered. Even better is that there's a parking lot, yay!! One of my biggest qualms about eating in the ID is finding parking, so this is a giant plus.

Several friends and I are addicted to the Ma Po Tofu and the Dan Dan noodles version w/ out the peanut sauce. Only complaints have been the 4-top tables that do not accommodate the chairs and an incident with a whole crab dish that seemed to be missing body parts.

I went for the first time for sit down with a large group and the service and the food was amazing I got take out a couple weeks later and the take out wasn't as good.

Great Hotpot. Seven Stars one of three outstanding Sichuan-style restaurants in the area, and when they tell you that something is spicy, they aren't just blowing smoke up your ass. IT WILL BE SPICY.

Seven Stars is reliable for both good hotpot and well-prepared Chinese dishes. The noodles are legendary here, and with good reason. They are fresh, chewy, and delicious.

Service is spotty, but I never go in expecting to be doted on (I go to Sichuanese Cuisine across the street for that). Sometimes your waiter will be outstanding, other times, you'll get scolded by a manager for ordering hotpot too late. The tables and chairs are a pain in leg, too - impossible to comfortably seat two persons per side, because the chairs themselves don't fit under the table.

If you do order the hotpot, I'd advise to avoid the seafood, which is pricey and kind of lame. Just get the family-style "buffet" hotpot, and order the broth a mix of spicy and mild. I... read more

Fabulous hot pot & shaved noodle.

Amazing!!!. Some of the BEST Szechuan I have EVER eaten!!!

LOVE this place for lunch. This place is great and has a huge selection of lunch specials. The Hot/Sour soup is good. Waitstaff is very helpful and the lunch specials although they have recently (2014) gone up a bit, still are a great deal for a lot of excellent food. Food comes out promptly, piping hot, and delicious. If you like it spicy, add a star to what you'd usually order, because I've found they tend to be on the milder side (or maybe I just look too white). The only downside to their huge menu, they don't list the ingredients of each dish. So you either have to already know the dishes, or ask the waiter/waitress what's in each one. Or they'll just make up whatever you want.

Their Secret. The secret story behind this Szechuan Restaurant, as fabricated in my imagination, is as follows:

1. you order any dish.
2. the basically bland and rather slow wait staff take your order, walk next store and purchase a similar dish.
3. next, they smother your food in an orange/red hot pepper oil sauce. No matter what you order, it will be drowned in this sauce.
4. Voila! Seven Stars Pepper Szechuan Restaurant

The chef has moved to Bellevue. The chef from Seven Stars Pepper recently moved and opened Szechuan Chef in Bellevue. The quality of the dishes at Seven Stars Peppers has gone down noticeably, although it is still pretty good. The new restaurant in Bellevue has a lot of the identical great dishes (e.g., eggplant in hot garlic sauce, which is one of my favorites).
