I'd return, but only if a friend suggested it. Food was ok, but the schizophrenic atmosphere was confusing and gave a feel of the product of a first year design school student.

Love this place!. Went for the first time last night after bowling. Upon entering wasn't sure I was dressed for the place, but the staff was so welcoming I didn't think of it again. This is my girlfriend's newest favorite place. The rest of the review is her: sat at the bar and was able to take in the ambiance - the warm lighting added to the enjoyment. Although the place was packed, I was able to hear the conversation much better than in other places around WS. Had the Sazerac drink and was amazed and delighted by the complexity and layer of flavors. Had the yam fries with garlic aioli, pomegranite BBQ meatballs and warm spinach salad - all were a delight! We'll definitely be back!

My New Favorite!. With a service only seen in very few restaurants, live music and a close to perfection menu, The Bohemian is a must go! It is worth the trip.

Hidden gem. Great food, drinks, staff and atmosphere. The pomegranate meatballs are terrific -- no filler and the pom-based barbecue sauce has just enough spice (it's great on the yam fries, too). We didn't have enough people to try everything we wanted to, but we will certainly be back!

They are also very knowledgeable about food sensitivities and have options for most everyone.

Great Atmosphere, even better drinks and food.. Imagine a bar that you enter and the bartender says hello and actually appears to appreciate your partonage. Eric is the friendly face behind the bar while his brother (former personal chief for Paul Allen) is in the kitchen. The soup is amazing, bruch is the best in West Seattle (sorry Salty's) and you had better have a DD when you drink the sangria. They elequently combine a cool bar with a homey feel with and local art. I can't say enough great things about it. You must try it.

A great dinner spot in W. Seattle. For some reason, I was expecting a pub atmosphere at The Bohemian. Instead, I found a charming bistro bursting with charm. The restaurant is cloaked in beautiful dark wood and was playing jazz at just the right volume.

The menu is small, but full of interesting dishes. It's a good sign when everything looks so good you can't decide what to order. We started with the yam frites which were served in a cute little brass bucket. For $1, we ordered all three dipping sauces (smoked ketchup, lavender honey and garlic aioli). We universally agreed the aioli was the winning dip.

For entrees we had a crab cake topped with two prawns and a side salad (this was on the specials menu) and a pasta dish called "kind of blue." The crab cake was spectacular, full of crab and no bread crumb filler. The prawns were perfectly cooked and we licked the salad plate clean. The "kind of blue" pasta was killer, made with Rogue... read more
Great atmosphere- great food!. My boyfriend and I went to The Bohemian last night for the first time after reading about it on a DailyCandy newsletter. I immediately felt comfortable in the restaurant- perfect light, rich colors and a great bar space.

The food absolutely measured up to the atmosphere and was completely reasonable in price. Unfortunately everything looked so good on the menu, that we might have ordered a little bit too much food- making our dinner a little bit more expensive than the average night at this restaurant.

I loved everything we ate- but my favorite(s) were: the sangria, the sorbet/champagne dessert, the pomme frites and the olive/nut platter. I can't wait to go back!
