Chicken rice was dry and disappointing. One would expect this to be served with gravy at least. Fish fry on other hand was spicier than standard!

Stay closeby but somehow never tried dining here despite wanting to for a long time. Called up to check about waiting time and was told its first come first serve and there was a 10 minute wait time. Reach the restaurant to find almost 60% of the tables empty - would have been much better if the person on the phone said tables are available instead.

Slightly excessive and seating was too cramped. We sat in a table for four and the sofa was extremely comfortable for two adults. They don’t have a hand wash in the dining floor but were very courteous and voluntary in offering finger bowls instead. New ice cream cafe in Chennai selling gelato-softy’s. Thank god they have more than the average vanilla and they had me won at that


Sampled a few flavours and went by house recommendation of Gianduja, a flavour I last liked in Italy and not managed to find a decent alternative across ice cream and gelato joints. Most places make it too sweet to suit Indian preferences, which wasn’t the case here.


The cone is designed to not drip and holds its crisp with very bite. Really liked that!


Place is done up well, has adequate parking and could only get better from here with the additions planned to the menu.

Happened to be at anna nagar and as we drove past this glamorous set up, realised it was the best option for our dinner - as we were looking for a mix of south indian and others.

Ambiance
Lets talk about the good things first. Glamorous exterior which seems to be a crowd puller. All of Saturday evening there were at least 25-30 people waiting and the cars for valet parking kept pouring in. Decent crowd management practices with benches being provided to visitors right outside the restaurant. The interiors is classy and gives a fine dine appeal.

I have dined at most popular restaurants and fine dining joints across Hyderabad and this might be one of my favourites.

Food
Went for the non veg platter and it was one of the wisest decisions.

Soup
Started with a badami chicken shorba which was rich and had a great flavour balance - usually don’t prefer this soup variant, but I would surely like to try this again

Starters
4 starters - chicken, fish, prawn and lamb. While the galoutis were fab and something I went for a second serving of, the chicken was the best. But all 4 starters tasted great and that set the tone for the meal.

Stayed here for 5 nights and their breakfasts are among the most mediocre ones in all of Hyderabad (I can say that after having stayed in half a dozen comparable properties).

While they have a lavish breakfast spread, almost everything was inedible on all occasions.

While I could explain this in painful details, here are some highlights:
- sabudhana khichdi which extremely oily
- Aloo parata where the first half I had tasted fab, but ended up being undercooked on every occasion after
- Dosas which lacked the sourness
- The day I found dhoklas and was excited about the new alternative, it just withered away at the the touch of the fork. Tasting mediocre was a separate problem.

So glad I chose to work out of here for a couple of hours on a weekday during a work trip. Had the first floor all for myself in the early evening. Tasted their chocolate milkshake, spearmint tea, dark choco and brownie macaroons.

Their macaroons were an absolute delight and the choco milkshake was quite good too.

Hopefully I try their food next time.

Food is decent - a mix of freshly made items and ones that are brought from central kitchen (was quite awkward to see them being brought in while we were dining at 7pm).

Idly was ok, sambhar wasn’t. Poondu kuzhambu made it edible.

Kal dosa and kongu chicken gravy has been my go to with this chain and it met expectations.

The interiors are done well, but could be maintained much better. Service is slow and very mediocre - no tissues in the tables, billing takes forever, simple food orders take time, etc.

Overall, a good addition to forum mall food scene. But I would be in two minds to revisit
